Recipe type: 🔵 Sports Nutrition – Recovery Meal ||🟢 Weight Management – Balanced

Glass cups with chia and chocolate pudding covered in blueberries, with more blueberries and spices in the background

This chocolate chia and flaxseed pudding can be prepared the night before for a convenient breakfast or snack. Protein powder supports recovery, while chia, flaxseed and blueberries add fibre that can help with fullness. It suits both sports nutrition and a balanced weight management approach.

Ingredients

8 fl oz. (240ml) oat milk

1 tbsp. cocoa powder

1 serving chocolate portein poweder

140g chia seeds

0.35 oz. (10g) ground flaxseed (linseed)

50g blueberries

Method

  1. Add all ingredients except blueberries to a jar. Shake or stir until fully combined.

  2. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight, until thickened.

  3. Stir well before serving. Divide into bowls and top with blueberries.

Janie’s Nutrition Notes

Chia and flaxseed provide fibre and plant-based omega-3 fats, while protein powder makes the pudding more substantial. For higher training-energy needs, add oats or a larger fruit portion.
