Turkey Burgers - Lean Protein Made Simple

These turkey burgers are an easy way to increase protein intake while keeping meals balanced and satisfying. They work well for recovery after training and as part of a weight management plan.

Ingredients

450g ground turkey thigh (7% fat)

2 green onions, chopped

30g spinach, chopped

1 tbsp. tamari

1 egg

30g rice flour

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, ΒΎ tsp. salt, 1 tsp. black pepper, green onions, spinach, tamari, and egg.



  2. Stir in rice flour and mix until fully combined.



  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties about 4 inches wide and 2 inches thick.



  4. Heat 1 tsp. oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook patties for 10-15 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.



    Suggested serving: Serve in lettuce wraps with tomatoes and sliced onions (cooked or raw) if weight loss is your goal or with brown rice to boost recovery / performance. A recipe that’s perfect, whatever your goals.
