Turkey burgers

Serves 4 | 45 minutes

Ingredients

450g ground turkey thigh (7% fat)

2 green onions, chopped

30g spinach, chopped

1 tbsp. tamari

1 egg

30g rice flour

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, ¾ tsp. salt, 1 tsp. black pepper, green onions, spinach, tamari, and egg.



  2. Stir in rice flour and mix until fully combined.



  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties about 4 inches wide and 2 inches thick.



  4. Heat 1 tsp. oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook patties for 10-15 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.



    Suggested serving: Serve in lettuce wraps with tomatoes and sliced onionis (cooked or raw) if weight loss is your goal or with brown rice to boost recovery/perfomrance. A recipe that’s perfect, whatever your goals.
